The event “Into the Green: Sustainability for Prosperity”, organized by Global Sustain in collaboration with its strategic partner, Generation Y, came to a full circle on July 12th 2022 at Golf Glyfada.
The event opened with short greetings by prominent institutional people, such as the Minister of Development and Investments, Adonis Georgiadis, the Regional Mayor of Attica, Georgios Patoulis, as well as the President of the Capital Market Commission, Vassiliki Lazarakou, while we were also honored by the presence of friends, partners, suppliers, and clients of Global Sustain and Generation Y.
The focus of interest lied at the presentation of the innovative Global Sustain Rating Tool, which enables businesses to be assessed by the pioneer of “green” evolution, regarding whether they meet ESG criteria, so that they are able to assert financing from banks and investors.
“With the official data certification of TUV Austria Hellas promoting the GS Rating, as well as the operation of the Rating Committee consisting of institutions and business entities, we now provide the opportunities for companies (and especially small and medium-sized ones) to collect, manage and evaluate ESG data, reinforcing the “green” impact of their activities, that today it’s deemed necessary to govern every spectrum of them“, mentioned Michalis Spanos, Managing Director of Global Sustain, who presented the Application for the first time.
“With Global Sustain as our strategic partner for ESG matters, we are glad about this upcoming initiative of the Green Private Club, with aiming at the networking of leading Greek companies, as well as for creating opportunities that will ensure their sustainability and lay the foundations for a greener digital business ecosystem,” highlighted Anastasios Spanidis, CEO of Generation Y.
