Generation Y is among Greece’s top employers for 2019, according to ICAP Group’s annual business publication, “Leading Employers in Greece”, along with the largest Greek companies distinguished for their excellent work environment.
This is the 9th consecutive year’s edition that aims to highlight businesses that focus on HRM best practices as well as Corporate Social Responsibility practices. Generation Y stands out for its total number of employees and for its increase in staff in previous years, as well as for the distribution of employees by gender, with women accounting for 59% of the company’s workforce.
In more detail, with 231 employees in 2018, Generation Y was among the top 500 companies in Greece in terms of human resources management and social responsibility actions. Realizing the “perfect storm” technology has brought into our lives and in our working environment, Generation Y invests in its people’s soft skills, further enhancing them to meet the ever-increasing and changing needs of the future.
At the same time, it has consistently insisted on environmental care, limiting energy and natural resources consumption, and further pursuing the paperless approach – in line with the “digitization” philosophy. Finally, through donations and voluntary actions to support vulnerable groups, the company promotes a sustainable society that focuses on human and their needs.
As human focus is now a matter of paramount importance, Generation Y listens to its work needs and emerges as a modern-day employer with a strong social profile who is actively involved in the evolution of the Greek labor market.
